As I was walking home from the bars Saturday night a possum darted in front of me, across Pearl Street. A kid was walking on the other side of the street.

Kid: What the fuck IS that thing?!?!

Me: A possum.

Kid: Let’s beat it up!!!!

The kid proceeds to run after the possum and I duck into a side street to avoid having to watch.
